TurfMesh 1400 is our non-slip medium duty grass reinforcement mesh which is intended for use on grassed areas that are used regularly by vehicles, wheelchairs, pedestrians and garden machinery such as lawnmowers. The reinforcement mesh can be installed on both flat and uneven ground to give any grassed area a strong and durable yet discreet protective layer once the turf below has grown sufficiently.

About Our Grass Reinforcement Mesh – TurfMesh 1400

TurfMesh 1400 is a fantastic non-slip grass reinforcement mesh which is ideal for use on grassed areas that are regularly used by vehicles such as cars, vans or by pedestrians. Our grass reinforcement meshes can be used in a multitude of ways to protect the root of the grass below whilst holding the weight of a vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Made from a high density polyethylene, each TurfMesh roll is chemical, rot and UV resistant, strong, durable, long lasting and easy to install. With an estimated lifespan of between 10 and 20 years if installed correctly and used as suggested (vehicle weight and frequency of use) you can have a grass reinforcement solution for a long time to come. Installed using either heavy duty u-pins or anti-pull anchor pegs at 1 metre intervals you can have your mesh laid and in use in next to no time thanks to its easy installation process.

What thickness mesh can a lawnmower go over?

Any thickness of mesh can be mowed as long as the blade height is lifted.

How many pegs do I need?

We recommend 1 peg per 2.5m²

Should grass reinforcement mesh be laid over existing turf or over a newly seeded area?

Both existing turf and a newly seeded area will work.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is £10 for any quantity of X-Grid, bases, mats, tiles and accessories.

Will the mesh be delivered on a pallet?

Any mesh over 2m will be delivered by pallet.

How quick is shipping?

We typically endeavour your product to be delivered within 3-5 working days but the expected delivery time of your purchase will be displayed clearly at checkout.
