How do the rubber tiles and garden base panel connect together?
The rubber tiles insert has been specially designed and manufactured to fit perfectly into our garden base panels so can be easily slotted into the top of one panel.
Can I buy, separately, the rubber non-slip tile?
Unfortunately not, they are only sold together.
Does this product come with pins or membrane?

No, this particular base comes with neither pins or membrane.
What sub-base do I need under my non-slip base?
We recommend you prepare the ground below your base with approximately 100mm of a compact hard base (type 1 or type 3), a weed-suppressing membrane and sand to level.
What is the difference between compact hard base type 1 or type 3?
Compact hard base, type 1 is much finer and can occasionally dust while the compact hard base, type 3 is larger and more permeable.
Can I put the base straight onto grass or soil?
We recommend not installing directly onto grass or soil but instead, install onto a compact hard base as it creates a sturdy, even base. Soil or grass can and will most likely will absorb water leading to sinking and creating an uneven sub-base for your spa base.
Can your bases be installed on to concrete slabs/pads?
Yes, they can be installed onto concrete slabs or pads as long as the existing ground is strong and level. The base will allow airflow under your spa and elevate it away from any potential surface water.
Do I need pegs or anchors to secure my base?
Pegs and anchors to secure you base are only necessary when installing on areas which have a gradient over 12%.
Can I be guaranteed the same colour all throughout my product?
Our products are new generation, manufactured entirely from post-consumer recycled plastic; this means you may occasionally find very slightly different shades of colour.

What Is A Garden Base Panel & Non-Slip Rubber Tile?
This product is an individual plastic garden base panel but with an added non-slip rubber tile which slots perfectly into the top of your plastic base tile to create soft and safe walkways or standing areas. These are a great addition to your garden building or hot tub where the surrounding areas could become slippery and hazardous without the correct non-slip flooring in place. Specially designed to fit perfectly into our garden base panels, you won’t find these versatile non-slip rubber tiles anywhere else. Each pack you order contains one plastic base tile and one non-slip rubber tile. The rubber tiles are manufactured from 100% recycled rubber so just like our plastic garden bases they are water-resistant and will not rot away.
When installed alongside our plastic shed bases, the non-slip rubber tiles can provide you with a strong, soft and non-slip flooring within your garden building. The flooring will prevent slipping if your feet are wet and add a little more comfort whilst walking around your shed.
When installed alongside our hot tub bases, the non-slip rubber tiles allow you to create walkways or standing areas around your hot tub or swim spa to provide a soft and non-slip area which can be used barefoot both before and after bathing without the risk of slipping.
