What’s the difference between the 16mm and 23mm rubber grass mats?
The products are very similar but do vary in a few ways. The main difference being the critical fall height of the mats, 16mm has a CFH of 1 metre and 23mm has a CFH of 3.3 metres.

Our rubber grass mats are versatile grass protection, safety flooring and grass paving solutions which are ideal for a range of applications including playground flooring, pathways, equestrian areas and more. Available in two thicknesses, 23mm and 16mm, you have a choice on which grass mat variant would suit your needs the best. The different thickness mats are very similar and the only large difference is the critical fall height which is 3.3m on the 23mm mat and 1 metre on the 16mm mat.
Easy to install using cable ties and plastic fixing pegs, grass mats can be utilised in almost all settings thanks to their numerous benefits such as being strong, permeable, non-slip, weatherproof, wheelchair friendly and able to withstand heavy foot traffic. The structure of each grass mat gives you effective drainage along with a surface which also allows the grass below to grow and maintain the areas natural appearance.
