About The Rubbermaid 5×6 Plastic Sliding Lid Shed
The unique 5×6 Rubbermaid plastic shed with a siding roof is an attractive storage space which would add to the aesthetics of all gardens and outdoor spaces. The 5×6 is smaller in height than most sheds and is short enough to fit under standard sized fences but still has ample room to hold your lawnmowers to long-handled tools. The unique designed rollers on the roof make it a simple job to slide the lid back to be able to easily access all of your stored items.
Advantages of Plastic Garden Buildings
The plastic used to manufacture every Rubbermaid 5×6 sliding roof shed is a strong and durable material thanks to its unique makeup and through a double-wall construction. Not only is the 5×6 plastic shed a long-lasting solution, but it is also weather-resistant, meaning it is able to withstand the harshest of weathers without leaking to ensure that your garden essentials are kept safe and dry all year round. The plastic materials used also require no maintenance so there is no need for repairs or painting.

What base should I choose for my shed?
We recommend you create a solid foundation underneath your shed with our plastic shed base. The process of installing includes a compact hard base (type 1 or type 3), a weed-suppressing membrane, sand to level and finally one of our plastic shed bases which can be filled with gravel or left unfilled.
Can I put the shed straight onto grass?
We do not recommend installing a shed directly on to grass. Instead, create a solid base under the shed using our shed base kits.
Does the shed base need gravel or is it strong enough without it?
Our plastic shed bases are more than strong enough without gravel. The gravel can be used to compact and secure the base even more and for decorative use.
