About EasiHold Pour On Gravel Binder

EasiHold gravel resin is strong, next-generation manufactured non-toxic and non-harmful water-based formulation. It is a pouring resin which is used over existing gravel or stones to prevent migration and reduce noise by creating a clean and solid yet permeable landscaped surface. EasiHold is also simple to use, just pour out the binder using a watering can over your existing gravel, stones or chippings before letting it dry. When installing, ensure your decorative stones are washed and dried and between 1 and 10mm in diameter. If using existing stones please ensure they are dry and clean as silt deposits can prevent a successful bond. The resin binder can be used for two applications:

  • Decorative use: The binder is simply applied to existing stones over soil or another standard garden surface when used as a decorative surface. Larger stones (10mm+) can be used for areas that are for decorative use only.
  • Light to Medium Pedestrian: The binder is again applied to existing stones but we recommend the stones be housed on a firm base such as compacted hardcore, concrete, asphalt or existing paving. Stones must be a maximum of 10mm in diameter for regular footfall.

EasiHold Application:

EasiHold resin is recommended to be applied using a watering can. The pour-on resin is a low viscosity binder to ensure that the treated stones are fully encapsulated. Ensure that care is taken so you do not over-saturate the area. Confirm that the watering can or another application tool used will provide a good even dispersion of Easihold to prevent the over-saturation of the working surface, as this may slow the curing time of the binder. In cases of extreme excessive saturation, the surface will become too wet to dry out. Once applied, you may spread or smooth the treated stones in place using a suitable trowel, pin rake, squeegee or a spatula.

Please note that Easihold is an air-drying product and should only be left open when intended for application.
